Hearth - Coming Soon!

Hearth is a new place where I'll be exploring the things that make a home feel alive: the food, craft, and the spaces we shape around us.

In the kitchen, I'll be sharing recipes inspired by the same principles that guide my teaching: seasonal eating, traditional wisdom, and the belief that how we nourish ourselves is just as important as how we move. Expect simple, feel-good recipes rooted in the foods and flavors I love, from TCM-inspired Chinese dishes I've learned from my family to my favorite energy balls inspired by Kayln Swihart of Ballet Beats. I'll also be sharing honest reviews of restaurants and eateries that inspire me: neighborhood gems, places with thoughtful ingredients, and spots that just make you feel good after a meal.

At the workbench, I'll be documenting my journey in Japanese woodworking, a practice that shares more with yoga than you might expect. Patience, precision, and a deep respect for working with natural materials.

Whether it's a weeknight recipe, a restaurant worth visiting, or the quiet satisfaction of cutting a joint by hand, Hearth is about bringing intention to the everyday acts of making and tending. It's the same philosophy I bring to my yoga teaching: just apply to the rest of life.

Stay tuned!
